Coles Crossing Dads Club 8th Annual Christmas Light Competition

To enter the competition, email info@colesdads.org. Please give your name, address, whether you are entering the “I Did It Myself” category.

Rules

1. Any house in Coles Crossing can enter.

2. An entrant can install the lights or hire someone to do so, with the exception of the “I Did It Myself” award.

3. Registration Deadline is December 8th at Midnight.

4. Judging will occur between December 11th and December 13th between 7-10 PM. The Winners will be announced by December 15th.

5. If the lights are not turned on when a judge passes by, it will not be scored.

6. “Best Block” Competition: The group of 6 houses surrounding the Entrant house will be considered. The Entrant house, each house next to the entrant, the house directly across the street, and each ‘caddy corner’ house. If that group wins, the Entrant house will be awarded the sign.

7. “I Did it Myself” Competition: The Entrant must have done all the work themselves in putting up the lights. This includes lights on the roof/eaves (both temporary and permanent). To enter this category, please note specifically in your entry email that “I Did it Myself”.

8. By entering, the entrant agrees to have their address shared on Facebook, CC/DC website, etc. so the community can come and be amazed!

9. Winners will get a decorative yard sign to proclaim their glory, as well as the envy of neighbors, bragging rights at community events, weddings, retirement parties, etc.
